SiT supports all genders who have experienced sexual abuse in childhood, through a range of trauma informed, psycho-educational activities including one to one and group therapy, counselling, advocacy, research and training to become empowered and improve self esteem and resilience.

What we can offer you

  • Seamless referral and robust assessment
  • Information, advice and guidance and referrals to other specialist organisations
  • Safety, stabilisation and self esteem programme (our 6 week ‘Hold Fast’ programme)
  • 1:1 trauma counselling and therapy
  • EMDR and other specialist trauma treatment
  • Body based / somatic therapies such as TRE and trauma focused yoga
  • Information, advice and guidance and referrals to other specialist organisations
  • Group support sessions for men and women
  • Peer support sessions
  • Phone and online counselling/therapy
  • Support for partners / carers / family members who are supporting a survivor
