Work with us
Working with us means a real chance to make a real difference in supporting survivors of sexual abuse. We are an equal opportunities employer. We know that sexual abuse knows no boundaries, but we also believe this about excellence.

Working With Us
We are a small, supportive and dynamic team – the work we do is challenging but extremely rewarding. We use a range of external platforms when recruiting for new roles, if you’re keen to work with us or want to enquire about current vacancies please email support@survivorsintransition.co.uk
SiT offers a vibrant learning and teaching environment for staff, volunteers and placements – key to our ethos is ensuring that everybody is afforded the opportunity to learn and develop specialist skills. Our staff, volunteers and placements receive monthly group and individual clinical supervision and we operate a Continued Professional Development (CPD) programme of relevant training and interaction.
All of our staff, volunteers and placements are professionally supervised and individually mentored and supported. We encourage ex service users to get involved in SiT by volunteering or attending our Service User Group (SUG).
People volunteer for an endless variety of reasons. Many people want to gain experience, acquire new skills, meet new people, or expand their network of contacts as a way to get a new job or start a career. Others just want to give back to their community, to help a friend or promote a worthwhile activity. They do it because it makes them feel good. Whatever your reason, we value the enormous contribution volunteers make at SiT. We particularly encourage ex service users to be involved in some way - there's a role for anyone who wants to be involved so if you would like to be considered for a position at SiT please get in touch or complete an application form.
Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer ~ Author Unknown
We work closely with a number of education providers (Counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, mental health etc) and host student placements at SiT.
We generally prefer that you volunteer with us for a substantial period of time before offering a formal placement – this way we get to know each other and work out if we’re a good fit for each other. If you are interested in a placement at SiT please submit the application form below.
